What the terms actually say

Section 14 — Dispute Resolution

Any and all disputes... shall exclusively be settled through binding and confidential arbitration.

You are prohibited from taking legal action in court and must use private arbitration instead.

Section 14.3 — Waiver of Class Arbitration

You acknowledge that you are voluntarily and knowingly waiving any right to participate as a representative of any class of claimants.

You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.

Section 4 — User Submissions

you grant to TinyURL... a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, distribute, modify, edit, display, adapt, create derivative works from, market, and promote the User Content

TinyURL claims a permanent, free license to use anything you submit for any commercial purpose.

Section 1.2 — Updates to Terms

TinyURL LLC reserves the right to update or change these Terms at any time by posting the most current version of the Terms on the Site... Your continued use of the Site after we post any changes to the Terms signifies your agreement.

The company can change the terms at any time without direct notice, and your continued use constitutes acceptance.

Section 9 — Liability Limitation

If any part of these Warranty Disclaimers or limitations of liability is found to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, then TinyURL's aggregate liability... shall not exceed Ten Dollars ($10).

The company limits its total financial liability to a maximum of $10.

Section 3.3 — Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time.

You have the right to cancel your subscription whenever you choose.
