What the terms actually say

Section 13

Hurricane Electric may terminate service to the subscriber at any time, without notice, for violation of this agreement.

The company reserves the right to terminate your account immediately without prior warning if they believe you have violated the agreement.

Section 10

The account holder will indemnify and hold harmless Hurricane Electric against any loss, damage, cost and expense which Hurricane Electric may incur.

You are required to pay for the company's legal defense and any damages they incur due to your use of the service.

Section 14

The request to terminate the account must be in writing. The account holder may send cancellation request via an email message to [email protected], by postal mail or by fax.

Cancellation is not automated and requires a manual written request, which is an inconvenient process.

Section 9

Hurricane Electric's services are provided on an as is basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

The company disclaims all responsibility for the quality, reliability, or fitness of the service for any purpose.

Section 16

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of California.

Any legal disputes must be resolved under California law, which may be inconvenient if you reside elsewhere.
