What the terms actually say

Section 20.1 — Mandatory Arbitration

YOU AND HUDL AGREE THAT... ANY DISPUTE... WILL BE RESOLVED SOLELY BY BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION... RATHER THAN IN COURT. YOU AND HUDL AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND... CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

You are prohibited from suing Hudl in court or participating in class action lawsuits, forcing all disputes into private arbitration.

Section 5.1 — Perpetual License

For Public User Content, this license is granted for any purpose, is perpetual and irrevocable, and survives termination of your Hudl Account or removal of the Content.

Hudl retains a permanent, non-revocable right to use your public content even after you delete your account.

Section 11.3 — AI Training

you acknowledge that Hudl may use User Content... to train, tune, evaluate, and improve Hudl AI and its underlying machine learning models.

Hudl claims the right to use your uploaded content to train their artificial intelligence models.

Section 18.1 — Unilateral Modifications

Hudl reserves the right to make changes to these Terms at any time without liability to you... changes will become effective immediately when Hudl posts the revised version on the Services.

Hudl can change these terms at any time without notifying you, and your continued use constitutes acceptance.

Section 4.1.2 — Biometric Data

“Public Game Video” means... the voices, performances, poses, acts, plays, appearances, pictures, images, likeness, photographs, silhouettes, and other reproductions of physical likeness and sound of the athletes.

The company explicitly defines its collection of video content to include your physical likeness, voice, and biometric-adjacent data.

Section 17.1 — Account Deletion

You may terminate your Hudl Account and your use of the Services at any time by following the account deletion process within your account settings.

You can delete your account through a self-serve settings menu.
