What the terms actually say

Section 14 — Dispute Resolution & Binding Arbitration

YOU AND HEADSPACE AGREE THAT DISPUTES RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES WILL BE RESOLVED BY MANDATORY BINDING ARBITRATION, AND YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

You are prohibited from taking the company to court or joining a class action, and must instead use private arbitration.

Section 7 — User Material

by submitting User Material you hereby grant Headspace an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty free, worldwide license to use... in any manner (including, without limitation, for commercial, publicity, trade, promotional, or advertising purposes)

The company gains a permanent, free, and global right to use anything you post for any commercial purpose.

Section 4 — Prohibited Use

We reserve the right to immediately terminate your access to or use of our Products or Services if we believe, in our sole discretion, that you exhibit such behavior

The company can cut off your access to the service at any time based on their own judgment.

Section 15.2 — Indemnity

you will defend and indemnify Headspace... from and against any claim brought by a third party, and any related liability, damage, loss, and expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs

You must pay the company's legal bills if they get sued because of something you did.

Section 3.2 — Cancellation by You

You may cancel your Subscription at any time, but you must cancel your Subscription before it renews in order to avoid billing of the next periodic Subscription Fee

You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.

Section 1.3 — Changes to Terms

If a change to these Terms materially modifies your rights or obligations, we may notify you and require that you accept the modified Terms in order to continue to use the Products or Services.

The company commits to notifying you when they make significant changes to the agreement.
