What the terms actually say

Section 8 — User Content

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free and perpetual license to use, copy, reproduce, distribute, adapt, re-format, modify, publish, translate, license, sub-license, and exploit the User Content...

You grant the company a permanent, global right to use and modify your content in any way, which continues even if you delete your account.
