What the terms actually say

Section 20.4 — Jurisdiction for United States Users

If you reside in the United States, any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration... You and beBee agree to waive the right to a trial by jury and to participate in class actions.

US users are forced into private arbitration and waive their right to participate in class action lawsuits or jury trials.

Section 19 — Modifications to the Terms

Substantial modifications will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email to the address associated with your account and through a notice on the Platform.

The company provides a 30-day advance notice period for substantial changes to the terms.

Section 6.5 — Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your settings panel ('Cancel subscription' button) or by contacting [email protected]. No penalty or fee is charged for cancellation.

Cancellation is straightforward, free, and can be done via a settings toggle.

Section 7.2 — License Granted to beBee

By publishing Content, you grant beBee a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use... such Content in connection with the provision and promotion of the Services. This license terminates when you delete your Content or your account.

The content license is limited and expires when the user deletes their content or account.

Section 18 — Termination

You may request export of your data before or within 30 days of termination.

Users have a clear, defined window to export their data after account closure.
