What the terms actually say

Section 1.2 — Updates to Terms

AVG Technologies may update or amend these Beta User Conditions at any time. AVG Technologies will communicate such changes to you via the Beta Portal.

The company reserves the right to change terms but commits to notifying users through their portal.

Section 2.3 — Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL AVG TECHNOLOGIES’ LIABILITY EXCEED THE PRICE YOU PAID FOR AVG BETA SOFTWARE, IF APPLICABLE.

Liability is capped at the amount paid, which for free beta software is effectively zero.

Section 10 — Governing Law

These Beta User Conditions will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.

Legal disputes are restricted to Delaware law.

Section 11 — Dispute Resolution

All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Beta User Conditions shall be finally decided by state or federal courts sitting in the State of Delaware.

You must resolve legal disputes in Delaware courts.

Section 6 — Feedback

AVG Technologies may freely use, disclose, reproduce, license, distribute and otherwise commercialize the Feedback in any AVG Technologies product.

Any suggestions or feedback you provide become the company's property to use commercially.
