What the terms actually say

Section 14.1 — Binding Individual Arbitration

you and the Sony Entity that you have a Dispute with agree to seek resolution of the Dispute only through arbitration of that Dispute, and not litigate any Dispute in court

You waive your right to a jury trial and must resolve all legal disputes through private arbitration.

Section 6.2 — User Generated Content

you grant SIE a royalty-free, perpetual, global license to use, distribute, copy, modify, display, and publish your UGC for any reason, without further notice or payment to you

Sony claims a permanent, worldwide right to use, modify, and profit from anything you create on their platform without compensating you.

Section 17.1 — Limitation of Liability

OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT... IS LIMITED TO YOUR DIRECT DAMAGES, NOT TO EXCEED THE UNUSED FUNDS IN YOUR WALLET AS OF THE DATE OF TERMINATION.

Sony limits their legal liability to the amount of money currently sitting in your virtual wallet, which effectively caps their liability at zero for most users.

Section 12.3 — Effect of Account Termination

UPON TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT... YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND FOR ITEMS (INCLUDING SUBSCRIPTIONS, VIRTUAL ITEMS, AND PRE-PAID PRODUCTS OR SERVICES)

If your account is terminated, you lose all access to your digital purchases and subscriptions with no refund.

Section 16.1 — Modifications

If material changes to this Agreement are made, you will be notified by e-mail or other communication when you sign in to the Services.

Sony commits to providing notice of material changes to the terms when you sign in.
