What the terms actually say

Arbitration Notice and Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes between you and us will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration and you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

You cannot sue Jane in court or join a class action; you must use private arbitration.

Your Feedback and Contributions

you hereby grant Jane a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual and irrevocable right and license to use your feedback and contributions

Jane owns a permanent license to use any feedback or templates you submit, which survives account closure.

Indemnification (Jane Payroll Terms)

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jane and its affiliates... from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees)

You are financially responsible for Jane's legal costs and damages if you make a mistake with payroll.

Jane's Role Regarding Subscriber Data

Jane will only access Subscriber Data... if required to do so by law, regulation, or court order.

Jane will hand over your data to authorities if legally compelled.

30-Day Opt-Out

If you do not wish to be bound by the arbitration and class-action waiver provisions in this section, you must notify us in writing within thirty (30 days) of the date that you first accept these Terms

You have a 30-day window to opt out of the forced arbitration clause by sending a written notice.
