What the terms actually say

Section 1 — Acceptance of Terms

InterPals reserves the right to update and change the TOS from time to time without notice or acceptance by you.

The company can change the rules of the service at any time without telling you or requiring your agreement.

Section 23.5 — General

any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Service or the TOS must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.

You must file any lawsuit within one year, which is significantly shorter than most standard statutes of limitations.

Section 7.6 — Content Submitted

InterPals may preserve Content and may also disclose Content if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process.

The company reserves the right to share your data with law enforcement or government agencies.

Section 13 — Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold InterPals... harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys fees, made by any third party.

If your actions lead to a lawsuit against the company, you are responsible for paying their legal fees and damages.

Section 4.1 — Cancellation

If you cancel the Service, your cancellation will take effect immediately. After cancellation, you will no longer have access to your Profile.

You have the right to cancel your account at any time.
