What the terms actually say

Section 10(b) — Grant of Rights

The above licenses granted by you in User Content you submit to the Website shall be perpetual and irrevocable.

You cannot fully revoke the license you grant the company for your content, even after you delete your account.

Section 28(c) — Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT, BY ENTERING INTO THESE TERMS, WE AND YOU ARE EACH WAIVING THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

You are forced to give up your constitutional right to a jury trial and your right to join a class action lawsuit.

Section 28(e) — Statute of Limitations

YOU AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION BROUGHT BY YOU ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE MUST COMMENCE WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES.

You have only one year to bring a legal claim against the company, which is significantly shorter than most statutory limits.

Section 5 — Account Information

You acknowledge, consent, and agree that IE Media may access, preserve and disclose your account information and User Content if required to do so by law or in a good-faith belief that such access preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with legal process.

The company reserves the right to share your private data with law enforcement or government agencies.

Section 9(c) — Cancellation

You may delete your account with us at any time by following the instructions on the Website.

You have a clear, self-serve mechanism to delete your account.

Section 6 — Paid Subscription

We will provide you with advance notice of all fees we charge and any changes to our fees.
