What the terms actually say

Section 14.12 — Modifications

Sharethrough reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time by posting the revised terms... or by emailing you. Publisher’s continued use of the Platform means that Publisher has accepted the changed terms.

The company can change the terms at any time, and your continued use of the service counts as your agreement to those changes.

Section 10 — Indemnification

Publisher agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sharethrough and its affiliates... from and against any claim, action, proceeding, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense, including attorneys’ fees...

You are responsible for covering the company's legal costs and damages if they face claims related to your use of the platform.

Section 14.14 — Legal Fees

If any dispute arises... the prevailing Party in such proceeding will be entitled to receive its reasonable attorneys’ fees, expert witness fees, and out-of-pocket costs...

The loser of a legal dispute must pay the winner's legal fees, which can be a significant financial risk.

Section 9.7 — Compelled Disclosures

To the extent required by applicable law... the Receiving Party may disclose Confidential Information... the Receiving Party may disclose Confidential Information in accordance with such law...

The company may share your data with government authorities if they believe they are legally required to do so.

Section 9.8 — Return of Publisher Data

Within a reasonable time after expiration or termination... Sharethrough will make all Publisher Data available to Publisher for electronic retrieval for a period of sixty (60) days.

You have a 60-day window to download your data after the agreement ends.
