What the terms actually say

Section 12.4 — Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL FRAMER... BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS... RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT IN AN AMOUNT EXCEEDING $100.

If you sue Framer and win, the most you can ever recover is $100, regardless of your actual losses.

Section 7.2 — License to Framer

Creator grants Framer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to... use, store, reproduce, copy, create derivative works, publicly display... to promote, advertise... or otherwise market Framer, without additional compensation to you.

Framer has a broad, perpetual-style right to use your creative work for their own marketing without paying you.

Section 8 — Term and Termination

Framer may immediately terminate or suspend this Agreement... at its sole discretion at any time, for any reason by providing notice to you.

Framer can terminate your access to the service at any time for any reason.

Section 10 — Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Framer... from and against any third-party actions, claims... including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees.

You are financially responsible for Framer's legal costs if they are sued due to your content or use of the platform.

Section 13.7 — Dispute Resolution

Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement will be brought exclusively in the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

You must resolve all legal disputes in the Netherlands, which is likely inconvenient and expensive.

Section 8 — Term and Termination

You may terminate this Agreement at any time by ceasing your access to the Framer Community.

You can cancel your account easily by simply stopping your use of the service.
