What the terms actually say

Section 23 — Arbitration Agreement

you and Fox agree to give up the right to sue in court, including that you and Fox agree to waive their right to a jury trial.

You are forced into private arbitration and cannot join class action lawsuits.

Section 16 — User Content License

you automatically grant... Fox a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to reproduce, modify... and otherwise use such materials... in perpetuity.

Fox owns a permanent license to use anything you post, forever, without paying you.

Section 4 — AI Training Prohibition

you may not and shall not copy, data mine, scrape or in any way extract or use the Content available on or accessible through the Fox Services for the purpose of training any artificial intelligence algorithm, system, model or tool

Fox forbids you from using their content for AI training, while reserving the right to train AI on your content.

Section 2 — Changes to Terms

Any material change to these Terms of Use will be effective as soon as the revised Terms of Use are first posted, unless the law requires us to delay the effective date.

Fox can change these terms at any time without giving you advance notice.

Section 20.2 — Limitation of Liability

FOX’S AND THE FOX AFFILIATES' LIABILITY TO YOU... WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID, IF ANY, BY YOU TO FOX

Fox limits their legal liability to the amount you paid them, which is effectively zero if you use a free service.

Section 7 — Cancellation

IF YOU PURCHASED YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO THE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE THROUGH FOX, YOU CAN CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION BY SIGNING INTO YOUR ACCOUNT AND FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED.

You can cancel your subscription online through your account settings.
