What the terms actually say

Section 20.1 — Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, BY ENTERING INTO THESE TERMS, YOU AND DOIST ARE EACH WAIVING THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

You are forced into individual arbitration and cannot join class action lawsuits.

Section 10.2 — User Content License Grant to Doist

By providing User Content to or via the Service, your content is still yours but you grant Doist a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid right and license (with the right to sublicense) to use, host, store, translate, transfer, display, perform, reproduce, modify, display, distribute your User Content...

Doist claims a permanent, irrevocable license to use your content for any purpose related to the service.

Section 15.2 — Termination

In addition, Doist may, at its sole discretion, terminate these Terms or your account on the Service, or suspend or terminate your access to the Service, at any time for any reason or no reason, with or without notice.

Doist can delete your account and all your data at any time without giving you a reason or notice.

Section 5.6 — AI Features

By using the Service, you hereby grant a license to Doist to transfer, transmit, distribute, or otherwise make available your User Content to such LLMs and, as applicable, the providers of such LLMs.

Your content is shared with third-party AI providers, which may use it for training.

Section 16 — Modification of the Service

Doist reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time... without notice to you.

Doist can change or remove features without notifying you.

Section 20.3 — Opt-Out

If you do not wish to resolve disputes by binding arbitration, you may opt out of the provisions of this Section 20... within 30 days after the date that you agree to these Terms

You have a 30-day window to opt out of forced arbitration by sending a physical letter.
