What the terms actually say

Section 1 — Acceptance of Terms

We reserve the right to change, modify, add to, or remove portions of these Terms in our sole discretion at any time and we will, at our sole discretion, either post the modification on https://www.databricks.com/terms-of-use or provide you with email notice of the modification. Any modification shall be effective immediately upon the uploading of modified Terms.

The company can change the terms at any time, and changes take effect the moment they are posted, without requiring your active consent.

Section 3 — Information Submitted

you automatically grant (or warrant that the owner of such rights has expressly granted) to Databricks a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, sub-licensable, fully paid-up and royalty-free license to use... and otherwise exploit such Submission

You grant the company a permanent, global, and royalty-free license to use, modify, and sell anything you post, which they can continue to use even if you delete your account.

Section 7 — Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU... EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

The company limits its total financial responsibility to you to $100, regardless of the damages you suffer.

Section 9 — Suspension or Termination

Databricks may, in its sole discretion and with or without prior notice, for any or no reason, suspend or terminate your access

The company can ban you from the service at any time, for any reason, without giving you prior notice.
