What the terms actually say

Section 1.6 — Amendments

Ahrefs reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to amend the Terms, in whole or in part, at any time without notice and with immediate effect.

The company can change the terms of your agreement at any time without telling you.

Section 1.7 — Arbitration

Unless you opt out of arbitration within 30 days... you agree to section 18 of the Terms which requires that you submit any claims against us to binding and final arbitration on an individual basis and not as part of a class, representative or consolidated action.

You waive your right to sue in court or participate in class action lawsuits.

Section 13.3 — AI Training

You agree that we may use User Content, including any content you provide to us in connection with your use of AI Tools, to train our machine learning models and support and develop AI Tools.

The company uses your uploaded content to train their AI models.

Section 15.2 — Liability Cap

you agree that our aggregated liability... is limited to the amount of moneys actually received by us from you to use Ahrefs Services during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

The company limits its financial responsibility to you to the amount you paid them in the last year.

Section 8.3 — Account Deletion

To delete an Account, you may send us a request via email in writing to [email protected] or use the live chat function available on https://ahrefs.com/.

You can request to delete your account through simple online channels.
