Channel 4 may use your name and photograph alongside your user content without separate consent.

Section 8 — Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are breaching any of these requirements ... Our decision to suspend or terminate your account will be based entirely on our own best judgement.

Channel 4 reserves broad discretion to terminate accounts based on its own internal assessment.

Section 11 — Copying Content

you shall not use ... the Channel 4 Services ... (a) for any machine learning, machine learning language models and/or artificial intelligence-related purposes (including the training or development of such technologies)

Channel 4 explicitly prohibits the use of their content for AI training purposes.

Section 9 — Terminating Account

If you want to terminate your account, you can do so by clicking on ‘Close Account’. This will wipe the personal information you gave us from our systems

Users have a clear, self-serve mechanism to delete their account and personal data.

Section 24 — Changes to Terms

we may change these Terms of Use from time to time ... we will try to give you reasonable advance notice (including by posting an update on the Channel 4 Services), unless changes are urgently required due to security, legal or regulatory reasons.

Channel 4 promises reasonable advance notice for material changes, with an urgent-change exception.

Section 25 — Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by English law and both you and Channel 4 agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in the event of a dispute.

Disputes are resolved in English courts; the service is UK-only, so this is the local forum.
