What the terms actually say

Section 11 — Legal Jurisdiction

Any dispute... shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

You cannot sue the company in court; you must use private arbitration in Singapore.

Section 8 — Intellectual Property Rights

you grant to BIGO LIVE... permission, free, permanent, irrevocable... rights and license, without any territorial or time limitations and without requiring any approvals and/or compensations

The company owns a perpetual, royalty-free license to use anything you post, forever.

Section 6 — Virtual Items

Except as otherwise set out in this Agreement, all sales of Diamonds and Gifts are final, and we do not offer refunds for any purchased Diamonds and Gifts.

You cannot get a refund for virtual currency or gifts under any circumstances.

Section 9 — Terminating Services

BIGO LIVE reserves the right, without notice and in our sole discretion, to terminate your license to use the Services

The company can ban you or delete your account at any time without prior notice.

Section 13 — Modification of the Agreement

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to generally notify all users... However, your continued access or use of the Services after the date of the new terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

The company can change the rules, and your continued use acts as your legal consent to the new terms.

Section 3 — Account

If you no longer want to use our Services again, you can request deletion of your account through Me > Settings > Account Management > Delete Account in the app.

You have a clear, self-serve path to delete your account within the app settings.
