Dispute Resolution

THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT, WHICH PROVIDES THAT YOU AND WE AGREE TO RESOLVE CERTAIN DISPUTES THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION AND GIVE UP ANY RIGHT TO HAVE THOSE DISPUTES DECIDED BY A JUDGE OR A JURY.

You cannot sue the company in court for most disputes; you must use private arbitration.

Transmissions, Submissions and Postings

you automatically grant us and our assigns the worldwide, fully-paid, royalty-free, exclusive right and license to use, copy, format, adapt, publish and/or incorporate any or all such information in any media whatsoever

Anything you post becomes theirs to use, modify, and publish forever without paying you.

Prohibited Use

you agree that you will not: ... use the Services for the development of any software algorithm, program, machine learning model, neural network, artificial intelligence or generative artificial intelligence (AI) tool

You are banned from using their site to train AI, but the company claims rights to your content for its own use.

Limitations on Our Liability

OUR LIABILITY AND THE LIABILITY OF OUR AFFILIATES... ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.

Even if the company causes you significant harm, they cap their legal responsibility at $100.

Amendments of This Agreement

If we make a material change to this Agreement, we will provide advance notice to you, such as by posting a notice on our website, application.

The company promises to notify you before making significant changes to the terms.

To revoke your instructions you must delete your Bankrate account by sending a formal request here.

You cannot simply turn off the service; you must delete your entire account to stop the data sharing.
