What the terms actually say

Section 6.4 — Public User Content

you hereby grant to Kahoot! a perpetual (or, for as long as permitted under applicable law), non-exclusive, sub-licensable, transferable, royalty-free, irrevocable, fully paid, universal license

If you publish content, you grant Kahoot! a permanent, global, and irrevocable right to use, modify, and commercialize it forever.

Section 18 — Governing Law / Jurisdiction

any action to enforce the Agreement shall be brought in the courts located in Oslo (Oslo tingrett), Norway.

You must travel to or hire counsel in Norway to resolve any legal disputes, waiving your right to local jurisdiction.

Section 15 — Indemnification

you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kahoot! and its parent company and affiliates, and their directors, officers, managers, employees, donors, agents, and licensors, from and against any claims and all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees

You are financially responsible for Kahoot!'s legal defense if your content or account activity leads to a third-party lawsuit.

Section 11 — Term and Termination

Kahoot! may terminate the Agreement or suspend your access to the Kahoot! Service at any time

Kahoot! reserves the right to cut off your access to the service whenever they choose.

Section 6.1 — Kahoot!’s License to User Content

Kahoot! will delete all User Content from your account upon termination of the Agreement

Kahoot! provides a clear commitment to remove your data when you terminate your account.

Section 17 — Changes to the Terms

If there is a material change to these Terms, we will notify you either by email to your registered email account, in-App or in-Service notifications

The company commits to providing notice before making significant changes to the agreement.
