What the terms actually say

Section 6 — Granting of rights of use

the user grants the Goethe-Institut the non-exclusive, worldwide right, unlimited in time, to use contributions for the following purposes

You grant the company a permanent, global license to use your content for any purpose, including editing and distribution.

Section 8 — Term and termination of contract

this agreement is concluded for an indefinite period of time and may be terminated by either party without notice in text form

The company reserves the right to terminate your account immediately without prior warning.

Section 9 — Amendment of the terms of use

If a user does not object within a reasonable period of at least 14 days, the terms of use shall be deemed accepted.

The company provides a 14-day window to object to changes in terms before they become binding.

Section 8 — Term and termination of contract

the user may at any time request the deletion of the user account and the non-public data stored therein.

Section 11 — Dispute resolution

We are willing to participate in an out-of-court arbitration procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
