What the terms actually say

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of these Terms shall be finally settled by arbitration in Brasilia, Brazil.

You waive your right to sue in your local courts and must instead arbitrate in Brazil.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold JivoSite and its officers... harmless from and against all claims, liabilities, losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys' fees.

You are financially responsible for the company's legal defense if a third party sues them regarding your account.

General

you agree that any claim or cause of action you may have arising out of these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.

You have a shortened time limit to bring legal action compared to standard statutory defaults.

Renewals and Cancellations

You can cancel your account at any time by contacting customer service.

Cancellation is available, though it requires contacting support.

Change of the Terms

Such amended Terms shall be effective within 10 days from posting through the JivoSite Service.

The company provides a specific notice period before updated terms become binding.
