What the terms actually say

Section 1 — Acceptance of Terms

We reserve the right to change the terms of this Agreement... at any time and for any purpose without notice.

HBO can change the rules of your service at any time without telling you, and your continued use counts as agreement.

Section 10 — Use of Submitted Content

Subject to the provisions of any additional terms, by posting or uploading any content... you automatically and irrevocably: (i) grant and assign to HBO a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide license in the User Content...

You give HBO a permanent, global right to use, modify, and distribute anything you post, which they keep even if you delete your account.

Section 21 — Dispute Resolution

In the unlikely event that you're not satisfied... we each agree to resolve those disputes through binding arbitration... you and we are each waiving the right to participate in a class action and to a trial by jury.

You are forced to resolve legal disputes through private arbitration rather than in court, and you waive your right to join class actions or have a jury trial.

Section 12 — Deactivation/Termination

We may terminate your use of and registration on the Service, at any time and for any reason, with or without cause, without prior notice to you...

HBO can delete your account and access to the service at any time for any reason without warning.

Section 15 — Investigations/Violations

HBO may provide personally identifiable information in response to legal process... We also may disclose such information in response to a law enforcement agency's request.

HBO reserves the right to share your personal data with law enforcement agencies without notifying you.

Section 7 — Limitation of Liability

HBO DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE (DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, ACTUAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR OTHERWISE)...

HBO disclaims all responsibility for any damages or losses you suffer while using their service.
