What the terms actually say

17.11 — Governing Law and Arbitration

Any disputes arising from or related to this agreement will be finally settled by binding, confidential arbitration... held in New York.

You cannot sue Alamy in court; you must use private, binding arbitration in New York.

8 — Indemnity

You will indemnify, keep indemnified and hold harmless Alamy... against any and all claims, damages, losses, expenses or costs, including but not limited to any reasonable attorney's fees.

You are financially responsible for Alamy's legal costs if a third party sues them regarding your use of the content.

10.1 — License Cancellation

Once you purchase an item of Content, you agree that you have no right to a refund, unless expressly stated otherwise in this Agreement.

All purchases are final; you cannot get a refund even if you do not use the content.

2.2.1.4.2 — AI Training

the software must not use or incorporate the Content for the purposes of image generation or machine learning training purposes.

Alamy prohibits the use of their licensed content for AI training purposes.
